Popular tennis stars Maria Sakkari and Caroline Wozniacki recently were the center of attention as they dressed up to feature on the red carpet of the Tennis Fest exhibition tournament in Mexico City.

The two tennis players ended their season and arrived in Mexico to add star value to the red carpet ceremony of the upcoming exhibition tournament in Mexico. While Caroline Wozniacki was seen posing in a stunning green outfit alongside her husband, David Lee, Maria Sakkari posed in a white and black outfit with a small luxury bag to further accentuate the look.

With that being said, there is no denying that the two most celebrated tennis players dazzled on the red carpet before their exhibition clash.

The 2018 Australian Open champion graced the occasion with her husband, while Maria Sakkari was accompanied by her sister.

Caroline Wozniacki and Maria Sakkari have played each other only twice on the Tour so far. The duo first met at the Wuhan Open in 2017, where a young and talented Maria overcame the experienced former World No. 1 in a well-fought match. 

However, the Danish got her revenge as she went head-to-head with her opponent at the Charleston Open two years later.

The Greek overcame the former World No. 1 in a comfortable manner, defeating her in straight sets. The match was initially on par with both players holding their serve well enough; however, Maria Sakkari was quick enough to take charge as she won the clash 6-3, 6-4.

The Greek took charge and broke the Dane’s serve in the seventh and ninth games of the opening set to secure an easy victory, going into the second set with a lead. She used this momentum to gain an upper hand in her clash as she cruised past Caroline in easy straight sets.

The exhibition tournament also featured World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz, who competed against Tommy Paul. These two also engaged in an exciting clash, with the Spaniard taking the victory 7-6, 6-3.
