Martina Navratilova slams Alabama state Attorney General

Martina Navratilova and Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall

The nine-time Wimbledon champion was enraged with fury when she learned the news that Alabama state Attorney General Steve Marshall is planning to throw women who take abortion pills. After the Federal Government allowed women to take abortion pills to abort pregnancy in January, Alabama Attorney General gave these controversial statements.

Alabama State laws explicitly target abortion providers for prosecution. Women, however, are not prosecuted according to the State laws. However, Mr. Marshall thinks that he found a found a way around this so that women who take abortion pills can be prosecuted for the offense.

“The Human Life Protection Act targets abortion providers, exempting women ‘upon whom an abortion is performed or attempted to be performed’ from liability under the law. It does not provide an across-the-board exemption from all criminal laws, including the chemical-endangerment law — which the Alabama Supreme Court has affirmed and reaffirmed protects unborn children,” he had said.

As was expected Martina Navratilova came hard at Steve Marshall after this statement. She gave an outrageous statement in reply to this news on social media.

And he just fuck off…,” her caption read.
