Martina Navratilova has entered the public debate about the breakup of Hollywood couple Jada Smith and Will Smith. The former World No.1 stood up for the actress, emphasizing the need for caution before casting judgment on the specifics of their private life. She is recognized for her direct demeanor.

Stephen A. Smith recently took brutal verbal shots to Jada regarding the ‘roles of a wife‘. Questions like, “Where is your decency?” and “Where is your compassion?” were asked by the famed sports analyst. He severely criticized Jada for allegedly cheating on Will with a guy named August.

During the course of the segment, Stephen A. said, “Where’s your compassion? Where’s your decency? Where is your respect for a man you still acknowledge as your husband? Where is the respect for a man you walked down the aisle with and pledged your life to in 1997 for better or worse…?”

Navratilova expressed her disgust towards the famed sports analyst for his interference in the Smiths’ private matters in a tweet on the aforementioned video. “Why the eff this man is talking about Jada,” Navratilova echoed the attitude of many who believe that public personality should be afforded privacy in marital strife. “So many people sticking their noses into people’s lives when they have no idea what actually went on,” she wrote.

The Smiths have been in the controversy for a long time

When Jada disclosed information about her 2016 breakup with Will Smith, the drama accelerated. The actress has faced a lot of public humiliation for this.
