Martina Navratilova is a fearless woman. She is known for her being quite vocal on a range of topics that bother her. She expresses her opinions on a range of issues that concern her which include- politics, policy, gender equality, racial equality, business, environmental issues, etc.
She uses social media as a powerful weapon at her disposal to muster support for her views and has from time to time enlightened the public. In a new post shared her views on a news article published in The New York Times.

This incident occurred in Idaho state The United States of America. Four students of the University of Idaho were found dead in an apartment in Moscow city of Idaho. Police are describing it as ‘homicide’. But nothing concrete can be said as investigations are going on.

Martina Navratilova’s tryst with Twitter
Martina Navratilova is one of the greatest female tennis players of her era. She won all the Grand Slam titles many times over in women’s singles and doubles. She also won mixed doubles Grand Slam titles many times over.
The Czech-born American won the WTA Finals 13 times and Fed Cup (now Billie Jean King Cup) 4 times. She also tried her hand at coaching. She coached Agnieszka Radwanska.
Martina Navratilova is also one of the most popular celebrities on Twitter. Her tweets are read and commented upon by many. In previous episodes, she was able to call out Kanye West’s antisemitic remarks. This resulted in Adidas scrapping its deal with the American rapper.
Also, she called out the hypocrisy of Elon Musk. He was asking his followers to support the Republican party in the mid-term polls in the US in November. However, in April when he bought social media giant Twitter, he promised to remain politically neutral.
