Martina Navratilova, a former tennis player has recently sparked controversies by openly sharing her opinions regarding issues about the ongoing political matters. She has been firing shots at Donald Trump and his presidential campaign. 

The 67-year-old has always stood up for gay rights, women’s rights, and political injustice and she currently does that by cautioning the public of another Trump’s term and calling his plans “Fascism 2.0”. She reposted another user’s post explaining why Trump’s idea of “vermin” and internal enemy has fascist foundations. 

As I was saying about fascism 2.0 under Trump- don’t take it from me- take it from an expert on fascism, Federico Finchelstein” Tweeted Martina.

This draws parallels to none other than Adolf Hitler. If Donald Trump wins the election for a second term, there are speculations that he might change a few sets of policies that would drastically change the government.

Some of these policies include deporting millions of immigrants, starting a trade war with China again, restricting Muslim travelers, and withdrawing from international treaties. This will change a lot for the country as a whole and it depends on the people if they want Trump as their leader or not.

Martina Navratilova criticizes Donald Trump yet again

In recent weeks, Czech-American former tennis player Martina Navratilova has been criticizing former American president Donald Trump as he stands for president yet again with a new set of rules and regulations in mind this time. In a recent statement, Trump mistook the current president Joe Biden for Barack Obama and the former tennis player did not leave this opportunity to fire a few more shots at Trump.

The controversy has risen rapidly in the a couple of weeks. Trump has never responded to the former tennis player but she continues to express her opinion to the world outside with the kind of platform she has.

With the American elections coming up, the world will await the new entry to the White House. Navratilova won’t stop sharing her opinions but will keep rallying against former President Trump.
