“Chuck this a** out!” Martina Navratilova hails Alexander Zverev for getting a rowdy fan who hurled the ‘most famous Hitler phrase’ ejected at US Open

A fan was spotted shouting a “Hitler phrase” during the US Open Round of 16 match between Alexander Zverev and Jannik Sinner at the Arthur Ashe Stadium. The German professional tennis player made a complaint to the referee, following which that particular fan was ejected from the stadium for his actions. Former tennis player Martina Navratilova took to Twitter to appreciate Alexander Zverev’s act of not tolerating the chants and doing what was right.
When Alexander Zverev heard the chants from the crowd, he went up to chair umpire James Keothavong and said, “He just said the most famous Hitler phrase there is in this world. This is unbelievable.
The chair umpire then informed the security officials, following which a 10-minute search was conducted for the fan. Finally, they identified a man wearing a blue baseball cap, and he was ejected from the stadium while the other spectators applauded.
Martina Navratilova appreciated Zverev’s bold move by replying, “Good for Zverev! Chuck this ass out!” to a tweet talking about the incident. Martina Navratilova is always one of the first celebrity tennis stars to speak out when something is wrong, and that is exactly what she did in this case as well.
Talking about the match between Alexander Zverev and Jannik Sinner, it went on till late at night and was an intense five-set thriller when the two players won alternating sets.
Alexander Zverev won the match 6-4, 3-6, 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 in the end and outsmarted the Italian. This is the second time that Zverev has defeated Jannik Sinner out of the two times that they met in the US Open. Moreover, it is the third time that he has qualified for the quarterfinals.

Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz will be locking horns in the quarterfinals of the 2023 US Open. It is a battle between the first seed and twelfth seed of the tournament and although Carlos Alcaraz will head into the match as the favorite, Alexander Zverev too will have some advantages.
