It was announced by the museum last week on their plans to still carry on portraying the memorabilia of all the Harry Potter books and films. JK Rowling was stripped of this authority due to her involvement in transphobic allegations. Navratilova has finally spoken in defense of her standing by author in times of hardships as she always has whenever there is a wrongdoing in the world.
Martina Navratilova said, “What else is new? Name calling, lies and accusations is all they have…especially when it comes to JK Rowling.” She gave a reference to all the allegations being put against Rolwing who was called a heartless person just because she spoke her heart out about the LGBGTQ+ issues. She was considered way too vocal about her views to which several people have bashed the author and even insulted her.
What did the museum’s authority have to say about this issue?
There was a lot of fuss regarding this issue as one of the most highly regarded and renowned authors in the world got her title removed from the bestseller.
Chris Moore, the project manager of the exhibition of the museum had his say on this topic. He slammed the author relentlessly without any mercy marking her comments as vague and believed that she needs to be punished.
He called Rowling a “cold, heartless, joy-sucking entity’” and said, “We would love to go with the internet’s theory that these books were actually written without an author’, he writes, ‘but this certain person is a bit too vocal with her super hateful and divisive views to be ignored.” He also accused Riowling of representing her emotions in the Harry Potter book accusing her of promoting “racial stereotypes, fat shaming, and LGBTQIA+ representation”.
