18-time Grand Slam singles winner Martina Navratilova interfered when a troll on a social media platform tried to question fellow tennis player Danielle Collins’ career. For the uninitiated, Collins has the highest ranking of 7 and has won two WTA Tour singles titles so far.

A comment was passed by a troll on Twitter, questioning why Danielle Collins was still playing the sport and allegedly hinting at the fact that she has not won any major tournaments in her career so far. Martina Navratilova defending Collins.

Responding to this baseless and offensive comment, Martina Navratilova replied in a bold manner, asking Collins’ haters to actually achieve something in their lives before passing any sort of comment on others.

Martina Navratilova has often been known to voice her opinion on a variety of things that have been making rounds on the internet. It goes without saying that the former tennis professional never shies away from speaking her mind.

Notably, she is one of the few players who has always taken a stand for herself and other fellow tennis players. She has recently been in the limelight for a lot of issues, from taking a dig at Maria Sharapova for being in the Greatest Player of All Time discussion to shutting down O.J. Simpson for his insensitive remarks on the 9/11 incident.

The 2022 Australian Open runner-up, Danielle Collins has reached the last 4 stages in the San Diego Open and will face Barbora Krejcikova to secure a seat in the Championship round of the Tournament.

Collins will look to strengthen her game and be back at the top of her game after losing to Ashely Barty in the Australian Open finals in 2022. She will be facing the 2021 French Open champion in the semi-finals.
