American tennis legend Martina Navratilova is one of those sports enthusiasts who love to acknowledge national and world security issues and also stand against the people who are instigating these calamities. She has, in the past, bashed politicians and many organizational heads for their involvement in some national emergencies and this time stood against Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

She compared Netanyahu to former US President Donald Trump and the Supreme Leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Un, upon the Israeli’s involvement in the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict. Netanyahu had recently outsourced three major guidelines in order to achieve peace through the Wall Street Journal titled ‘Our Three Prerequisites for Peace.’

Those guidelines talked about the demilitarization of Gaza, the destruction of Hamas, and the deradicalization of the entire Palestinian society. Navratilova chose to bash the Israeli Prime Minister publicly on Twitter (now called as X) thereby retweeting the tweet about the three prerequisites. She wrote:

Martina Navratilova talks about the idea of pursuing a career in politics

Navratilova has been one of the busiest personnel on social media and is always trying to address political agendas. She was asked in a recent interview with Kara Swisher about her interest in pursuing politics. She said, 

I am. I’ve been asked many times. But I think truth doesn’t work in politics you know I speak my mind way too much. I think maybe as a guy you can get away with it but as a woman, I just don’t know, but I think I am too old for that.

She spoke about how tough it is for a woman of her age at the moment to do all the running that politics involves. She also feels that being a woman, it is always quite hard to pursue a career in politics, as things are being looked over more precisely when a lady is involved.

Navratilova talked about not having the energy at the moment to involve herself in the nasty side of politics, but claimed to surely try her luck if it were 20 years ago.
