Martina Navratilova lambasts Politico magazine for calling Meghan Markle ‘narcissist’ alongside Donald Trump

Former world No 1 Martina Navratilova has been an active voice on social media. She is known to raise important issues, counter unfavorable opinions, and promote gender equality among other things. This time the tennis icon expressed her displeasure against Politico Magazine for putting Meghan Markle alongside Donald Trump, Kayne West, and calling her a narcissist.
The magazine came out with a cover featuring some ‘narcissist’ personalities and mentioned how they had ‘their moment in sun’ in 2022. Putting Meghan Markle alongside them did not go well with Navratilova. She was quick to give her reaction on Twitter.
“Seriously Politico?!? WTAF? Politico sucks on this!!!” tweeted Navratilova expressing her resentment. “Politico sucks on this!!!”, she further wrote.

Earlier too Navratilova defended Meghan Markle after a journalist made some distasteful comments about the Duchess of Sussex.

Tennis legend Martina Navratilova has been vocal about issues concerning sports, gender equality, and politics among others. She has championed the cause of the LGBTQ+ community in the sports arena and never shied away from giving her opinion on thorny political issues. Just a few days back Navratilova lambasted a journalist for his misogynist remarks. Earlier she had openly criticized former US President Donald Trump and Tesla boss Elon Musk for some of their actions. She also has been keeping a constant tab on the game and players.
Navratilova, in her amazing career of more than two decades, accumulated many accolades. She won 18 major singles titles, 31 major women’s doubles titles, and 10 major mixed doubles titles. But it is her constant voice on important issues that separates her from others.
