Greene made a statement about president Joe Biden’s administration but a fact-checker countered that with reality. But her spokesperson dismissed the fact with false accusations.
The whole issue revolves around the children’s deaths caused by fentanyl poisoning. Greene tried to put the blame on the current administration. But, the incident happened in 2020 when Donald Trump was the president.
Daniel Dale, a senior reporter for CNN posted on Twitter the facts about the incident in response to the far-right American politician. “I asked Greene’s office last night about her tweet blaming the Biden administration for these deaths in 2020 under Trump. Spokesman Nick Dyer responded by saying lots of people have died from drugs under Biden and “do you think they give a f*** about your bull**** fact-checking?” his caption read.
To which Navratilova was quick to support. “Other than this I am sure they are all such nice people,” she commented with a clown emoji.
