Martina Navratilova who has been against the Republican party from the very beginning openly mocked Louisiana Congressman Mike Johnson over an old video that has been doing the rounds ever since he took charge as the new House of Speaker. Navratilova called Johnson a Christian Sharia.

The former tennis ace has never shied away from speaking against those who she does not like and Navratilova did the same this time around. She openly showed her dislike for Johnson as she mocked the Republican for his ideology.

Martina Navratilova reshared a clip on X wherein Mike Johnson is being introduced onto the stage with some big words of praise. The host is heard calling Johnson’s presence at the venue orchestrated by god himself. He also called Johnson a dear friend. Meanwhile, Navratilova introduces Johnson in her own words.

Martina Navratilova blocks a user who questions her for the choice of words for Mike Johnson

While Martina Navratilova criticizing Mike Johnson did not get much flak, a user, however, pointed out that the words used were too harsh. The user also questioned if Navratilova knew what the word ‘Sharia’ meant. The user agreed that Johnson has radical views but calling him a sharia is far-fetched. The user went on to call Navratilova too emotional.

True, Martina is sometimes too emotional and understandable. Her sexual Orientation was under Attack for too long and the fear to loose equal rights is justified. The problem nowadays is not really the right anymore but the Movement which highjacked the LGB Community.
The user alleged agaianst Martina Navratilova.

This clearly did not sit well with the 67-year-old who put in a fierce reply before blocking the user. Navratilova corrected the user’s perception saying she controls her emotions. However, she lost it when the user suggested the former World No.1 should come up with better comparisons. 

I said Christian sharia- doesn’t mean cutting off hands for stealing. You are assuming way too much as to 1-how I feel and 2- what I know. #blocked for the continued even if unintentional condescension

It is worth mentioning that Martina Navratilova has been critical of Mike Johnson from the start. She was quick to call out the Louisiana Congressman for his views about the LGBTQ+ community. Navratilova called Johnson a facsist.
