Former tennis legend Martina Navratilova didn't shy away from putting up her unflitered opion on the tennis 'let' rule.

Martina Navratilova, the former tennis player, has always been caught up in controversies because of her unfiltered and bold comments. Recently, she was caught in the crossfire for standing against transgender people in women’s sports. Now, the former champion has expressed her views on the removal of the ‘let’ rule in tennis.

On TC Live, Steve Weissman expressed his views on the let rule in tennis and believes that it should be removed from the sport. 

I’m saying no more let on serves. It happens in every other part of the game other than serve.

For context, the let rule allows the server to serve one more time if the ball hits the net before landing on the other side of the court during the first serve. This benefits the server by allowing him more control over the point and giving him an advantage in tight situations.

As expected, the clip instantly went viral, eliciting a plethora of reactions from tennis fans worldwide. One such reaction came from none other than former tennis legend Martina Navratilova. She commented with a simple yet powerful statement.

Throughout the years, the let rule has given a significant advantage to the server, and Martina believes that it’s time to change the rules of the game. While it doesn’t seem like the rule will change, it is a matter that requires heavy discussion and debate, as a change in the rule can completely change the course of the game.

I almost get PTSD when I come to New York (because) several weeks of treatment were here. 

Fortunately, over the years, her health has surely improved, and now she is healthy enough to go to the gym and do more stuff. More than this, she is a bold character, opening up and speaking fearlessly to every matter in the world.
