Martina Navratilova slams Donald Trump’s former election lawyer Rudy Giuliani after he refuses to testify in defamation case

Former American tennis ace and World No.1 Martina Navratilova has once again launched an attack on Donald Trump but in an indirect way. Navratilova took a dig at the former American president by criticizing his former election lawyer Rudy Giuliani after he refused to testify in the defamation case against him.

As ex-poll worker Ruby Freeman and her daughter Wandrea “Shaye” Moss are suing Mr. Giuliani after he falsely claimed they played a role in election fraud, the former election lawyer claimed that he will testify and clear the air about the allegations he put against the two poll workers of Georgia.

However, it came as a surprise days later when Giuliani, through an attorney, revealed that he wouldn’t actually testify. Now, with no defense witnesses, the civil trial instead moved on to closing statements.

This resulted in Trump’s former election lawyer facing criticism. Martina Navratilova also joined the bandwagon as she took aim at Giuliani as well as Trump. She questioned Giuliani’s decision to back out and asked if not willing to testify indicates something.

Martina Navarotilova’s dislike for Donald Trump

Martina Navratilova has been extremely critical of Donald Trump and his Republican Party. The American tennis legend has never come to terms with the ideology the Republicans advocate. Time and again Navratilova has pointed out the flaws with such an ideology.

Now as Donald Trump is getting ready to compete with Joe Biden for the position of the President of the United States in the 2024 elections, Navratilova is urging everyone to not fall for Trump. The tennis ace keeps on pointing out the issues with the Republican party and also highlights the problems US citizens will have to face if Trump comes to power again.

Most recently, Navratilova claimed that Donald Trump becoming the President of the United States will be a war on all women and the non-white population of the country. She has also claimed many times that Trump and his party are anti-women.
