Tennis legend Martina Navratilova recently took to X to take a dig at British transgender broadcaster and newsreader India Willoughby. Willoughby was recently blocked on X (formerly Twitter) by Scottish tennis coach Judy Murray, who also happens to be the mother of the famous tennis player Andy Murray.

Martina Navratilova wrote in a tweet that Judy Murray is a very even-tempered woman and the fact that even she could not stand India Willoughby and had to block her says a lot about her.

It is currently unknown as to why exactly Willoughby has been blocked by Judy Murray. Willoughby was at the center of a controversy with Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling. In fact, she took matters to court after being ‘misgendered’ by the 58-year-old in one of her tweets. However, she is adamant that she did nothing wrong by calling ‘a man a man’ and that she does not intend to delete her tweets despite the new law that has been passed in the United Kingdom.

India Willoughby was Great Britain’s first-ever transgender national newsreader. She was nominated for a Woman of the Year award in 2023, which did not go down well with many people and tennis legend Martina Navratilova was one of them. She has spoken out against her on countless occasions and was furious when this news came to light.

Navratilova had tweeted while also posting a video where India Willoughby talked about how she chose a ‘designer vagina’ from a catalog.

She then reshared a tweet that contained a compilation of some horrible things that India Willoughby has written against several women, judging them for their looks and whatnot. 

Wow- quite the role model , this nasty India. Not anyone I would ever want to hang out with, to say the least.
