Martina Navratilova labels Virginia Governor and Republican Glenn Youngkin ‘SHAMELESS’ for stealing credit on tax rebate

Martina Navratilova, the 67-year-old former player is not only known for her on-court records but also for her constant urge to comment on social issues. In recent times, she has been caught in a lot of controversies for taking a stand on certain issues. Recently, she labeled Virginia Governor and Republican Glenn Youngkin as shameless. 

Recently, in a tweet, it was revealed that one week before the elections, Glenn Youngkin was sending taxpayer-funded mailers giving himself credit for a recent tax debate. To this, the former tennis player called the governor shameless. Martina Navratilova said on X:

Wow. A GOP hypocrite - what else is new!??Taking credit for something he was completely against. Have you no shame Governor? Never mind - it's a rhetorical question.

Martina Navratilova criticizes Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin for allowing the police to have access to the menstrual data in the state. A person who has voiced her opinions on all the matters gave a quick and snarky remark on this one. Martina said:

Great- another wannabe fascist, Glenn Youngkin. Good to know. Should we ask him about his sperm count?!? WTAF!

To aid in criminal investigations, Glenn decided to provide access to women’s menstrual data. Martina considered this as an attack on the fundamental rights of women’s privacy and security.

The former Czech-American player has always stirred controversies and mostly she has been on the receiving side of the fans’ hatred. After a recent fire on the internet due to sporting issues, she has been involved in politician issues involving Trump and now involving Glenn.

Other than this, there have been a few issues in the tennis world like the suspension of WTA matches due to Rain, and Martina has been reacting to these as well. She may have been odd tennis for a while but has never been away from the sport, and through the power of social media, she has been indirectly helping the sport.
