Matteo Berrettini‘s girlfriend, Melissa Satta, has gotten immune to fans holding her responsible for the Italian’s injuries. It happened before when she was married to Ghanaian footballer Kevin-Prince Boateng. At the time, she was accused of giving her husband Pubalgia, a chronic groin lesion. And how did she do that? Apparently, by having too much funny business under the sheets.

In an interview with Vanity Fair recently, Melissa Satta highlighted how she encountered a torrent of accusations for Boateng’s physical problems. “Once, with my ex-husband ( Kevin Prince Boateng) who suffered from pubalgia. Even there they attacked me saying that we had too much s*x and that was the cause of his physical problems,” she said.

Matteo Berrettini is currently recovering from his abdominal injury. Melissa was asked if fans once again unfairly accused her for Berrettini’s injury. The 37-year-old Satta said, “Too bad it’s an injury in the same place as the one in 2021, when I didn’t know him. But in any case: do I really have to answer to these people?“

Matteo Berrettini was forced to withdraw from the Monte Carlo Open owing to an abdominal injury. He won the second round but had to withdraw before playing Holger Rune in the third round. Netizens are also chastising him for his poor run of form. Adding fuel to the flames are paparazzi images of the tennis star with his girlfriend Melissa Satta. Tennis fans are always vilifying the couple who are apparently dating since this year’s January.

Recently, Matteo was seen at the Met Gala red carpet. Though he looked like his ravishing self, fans again mocked him for not focusing on his tennis and giving more importance to fashion and modeling. The world no. 21 will be playing in the French Open. Though clay is not his strongest surface, fans would want to see him go deep into the tournament. Post that his favorite grass season will commence. Hope to see some good tennis from the Italian there.
