However, Maxence Broville has also been under the radar for his ban. The Frenchman was banned from tennis for seven years after having been caught match-fixing. This type of mistake is considered a major offense in almost every sport, and tennis has the ITIA, which has been very strict for the past few years.
The ITIA had accused Broville of match-fixing in 2017 and 2018. Although the youngster denied all the allegations, it only worsened the situation. The Frenchman was supposed to cooperate with the ITIA team and allow the team to go through his stuff. He refused, which angered the organizers, and paid a huge fine of 5000 dollars.

A huge seven-year ban has been placed on the Frenchman. He hasn’t had much success in tennis and was ranked 708 in 2023. The Frenchman had a good enough run in doubles, placing him higher than in singles.
His ban officially started on 20th June 2023 and will last until 2030, which will surely affect his career. Broville’s flourishing career would have to be paused for a long while for seven years. With the organizers very strict, all the players must be aware of what is with them.
