Rafael Nadal has once again proved his unparalleled dominance on the claycourt as the Spaniard defeats Casper Ruud in the finals of the 2022 French Open to win his 14th French Open title and 22nd career Grand Slam title. This was Nadal’s 18th appearance at the Grand Slam and with a record of 112-3, he reminds everyone of his dominance once again.

Nadal won the match 6-3, 6-3, 6-0 in 2 hours and 18 minutes to clinch the title. The title is nothing but just another crown for the King of Clay who despite having limped off in a 3rd round defeat in Rome, has won the title at the Grand Slam serving a bagel in the finals for the third time. Nadal also maintained his record of not losing more than 1 set in a French Open final and despite Ruud looking stronger in the second set the Spaniard saw him off easily.
