She will be facing fellow Russian Anastasia Potapova who is seeded 22 in the draw in the next round with an aim to book a spot in the quarter-finals.
Andreeva has been having a spectacular year so far from being a runner-up at the junior Australian Open to reaching the fourth round of the Madrid Open where she lost to Aryna Sabalenka. She is currently ranked 102 in the world and she had to play the qualifying at the French Open before making it to the main draw where she eventually lost to Coco Gauff.
