Andrey Rublev has seen a renaissance of form in the Monte-Carlo Masters. After some disappointing performances in the Sunshine Doubles, the Russian is finally able to reach his true potential. This is the second final of an ATP tournament that he is playing this season.

At the Monte-Carlo Masters, he had to pass some serious challenges in the form of Jaume Munar, Karen Khachanov, Jan-Lennard Struff, and Taylor Fritz in the semi-finals to reach the final of this ATP Masters 1000 tournament. If the Russian is able to win this match, this will be his career’s first ATP 1000 Masters triumph.

Holger Rune too had his own set of troubles in the past few tournaments this season, but he came on his own in the Monte-Carlo Masters. He has looked good in this tournament. This is the second final of an ATP 1000 tournament that he is playing in his career.

At the Monte-Carlo Masters, he beat Dominic Thiem, Matteo Berrettini, Daniil Medvedev, and Jannik Sinner in the semi-finals to cement his place in the final of this ATP Masters 1000 event.
