Novak Djokovic won his second-round match against the Slovakian Alex Molcan in straight sets. The Serbian looked in comfort and was determined to finish the match in the first three sets itself.
Djokovic is the defending champion of the French Open and is fighting to defend his title this time around. The world’s No.1 tennis player has been in red hot form after his comeback to professional tennis and will be looking to make the most of it in the coming weeks.
It wasn’t that easy for Djokovic to put his head up and work through all the hate that he was getting on social media during the time he spent in Melbourne at the beginning of the year. He has been one of the most criticized players of the big three by a long shot.
When you compare him with Roger Federer or Rafael Nadal he always seems to come out a bit arrogant, due to no fault of his. Djokovic after winning the match talked about the aspect of hate on social media which the younger players should be really conscious about.
Most of the time it is the fans, the people who aren’t involved in the game whose harsh words might deject you. But when you pundits and former greats of the game say bad things about you, you need to shut the noise and keep working on yourself.

Novak Djokovic after his match talked about the way in which most of the players in the tournament are stuck to their mobile phones. He said, “Most of the players I see around here, spend time on the phone, which is not ideal. I do that sometimes as well, but I think I am able to manage it.”
Djokovic himself has great control over his cravings and his lifestyle. He likes to be disciplined in each and every aspect of his life and that is what makes him a great player and a role model for younger generations.
Djokovic added, “It’s up to the individual to use and control the time you spend online, it comes down to do that. It’s about trying to work with a young person, to help them navigate. I’ve talked with my wife as well, that period is coming for our kids.”
