The draws in Madrid are out and Alcaraz could potentially face Nadal for the third time in the quarterfinals at the Madrid Open. Carlos Alcaraz has always been compared with his compatriot Rafael Nadal. There are for sure some similarities but Alcaraz is all set to write his own folklore. He has already shown glimpses of his exceptional talent as he became the youngest ever winner of the Miami Open breaking Novak Djokovic’s record. He then backed it up with a fine statement win against Stefanos Tsitsipas on his route to the Barcelona Open title.

With every match that he plays, the 18-year-old is only getting better. He has also broken through in the top 10 ATP rankings and is only getting started. However many experts including Alex Corretja, Andy Roddick, etc have repeatedly told the fans and other experts not to compare him with Nadal as it puts added pressure on the youngster.

Currently, the Spaniard will be in action at the Madrid Open with high chances of facing Rafael Nadal in the quarterfinals. Surprisingly the youngster is in the same half of the draw with Nadal and Novak Djokovic. So we are surely in for some exciting matches.
