Nick Kyrgios, the 27-year-old Australian lost the 2022 Wimbledon final to Novak Djokovic by 4-6 6-3 6-4 7-6(3) which saw the Serbian win his 21st Grand Slam title and his fourth Wimbledon in a row. Kyrgios displayed fantastic performances throughout the tournament which saw him end up as the runner up just falling short to one of the greatest players of all time in Novak Djokovic.

After his best-ever run in a Grand Slam final, Kyrgios silenced his critics in classic ‘Kyrgios fashion’ after he took a dig at the media and his critics by posting a video of an interview of Kevin Durant from 2019. Leaving with his first piece of Grand Slam silverware this year, fans are sure that this is not the last of Kyrgios that they will see in a Grand Slam final.

Nick Kyrgios has always been in and around controversies and people have questioned his mentality on several occasions. The Australian seemed to prove everyone wrong on the court with the racquet in his hand as he keeps putting on sensational performances. After his defeat in the finals, he took to Instagram to post a video of an interview of Basketball player Kevin Durant from 2019.

In the video, Durant says, “I just don’t trust none of y’all, Every time I say something it gets twisted up and thrown up and so many different publications tried to tear me down with my words that I say. So when I don’t say nothing, it’s a problem. I just wanna play ball. I wanna go to the gym and go home.
