Nick Kyrgios is currently recuperating from the surgery he suffered just before the Australian Open 2023. The injury derailed his plans to win his maiden singles Grand Slam title in front of the home crowd. He is on the path to recovery and his manager has given a timeline for his return to the court.

“The surgery was a great success,” Kyrgios’ manager Daniel Horsfall affirmed. “We couldn’t have been more pleased with the outcome of it. Now we will be pushing ahead for a speedy recovery and are aiming to see everyone at Indian Wells,” he added.

Before the tournament, all eyes were on Kyrgios as he was the crowd favorite Down Under. Not only the Australian Open, but the injury also forced him to withdraw from Team Australia’s inaugural United Cup lineup in late December. His fans are eagerly waiting for their star to come back soon and start from where he left off.
