Chilean Nicolas Jarry found himself on the opposite side of the luck spectrum as the 18th seed lost his opening-round match at the 2024 Australian Open.

Jarry lost the match against qualifier Flavio Cobolli in a five-set thriller that lasted for four hours. While the match was extremely entertaining as it went back and forth with both players not ready to give up, Jarry losing a point over dropping a ball was shocking for the fans.

Tennis fans were left dumbfounded when Jarry lost a point with the scoreline reading 5-6 *30-0 just because a ball fell off his pocket for the second time.
