It was a packed stadium with fans ready for a rematch of the recently played Wimbledon Championships final in Cincinnati on Sunday. With the top two seeded players of the competition, Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz, going head-to-head with one another, many tennis fanatics looked up to this game as a chance for Nole to get revenge.

With the Cincinnati Open title on the line, Carlos started the game in full force, picking up the first set and giving the Serbian absolutely no chance whatsoever to fit into the match. With fans growing crazy after this, many expected the same outcome as Wimbledon.

However, more interestingly, Novak announced his return to the court in fine fashion, making a dream come true by winning back-to-back sets to clinch the title, which made it a day for every single tennis fan worth remembering.

It was not just a match of physical skillsets and a test of fitness; it was also a battle of mental strengths. With neither player ready to give away a single point, fighting until their last stretch for every single point, both the second and third sets went to tie-breaks, and Nole made the most of this opportunity.

Novak won the second set on tiebreaks by 9 points to 7 and the third set tiebreak by 7 points to 4, with the final score being 7-5, 6-7, 6-7 to Djokovic.

After losing the Wimbledon Championships last month, Novak was under a lot of pressure from the fans for not being able to perform at this age. Some fans even marked him as one of the oldtimers, and questions were raised against him about his time for retirement. He took a month-long break from tennis to enjoy his time on vacation and returned to the court ahead of the Cincinnati Masters.

He then quickly announced his return to the court with huge wins over the top-seeded players in the competition, such as Gael Monfils, Tommy Fritz, and Alexander Zverev, fixing up a final matchup with Alcaraz.

With Alcaraz being held as the prime favorite ahead of the start of the competition, Novak made sure of revenging his Wimbledon defeat and turning the odds in his favor yet again. Finally, Novak has much-needed confidence after beating the World No. 1 going into the US Open, which starts next week.
