This is what Djokovic said:
It is true that we cannot be friends because with friends you talk about everything, the good, the bad, your secrets… With your rivals, I don't think you feel very comfortable revealing all that. In the last 15 years, I have seen more of Nadal and Federer than my parents. It has been a very long journey together and when we hang up the racket we will see it in a more relaxed way.Novak Djokovic via MARCA

On Wednesday, he was asked about the event he would love to play Nadal in their last game. While the Serbian expressed his eagerness to play anywhere, irrespective of the tournament, his unwillingness to play at the Roland Garros was completely visible.
This is what Djokovic said:
Roland Garros wouldn't be bad, but Nadal is the player who has won there the most times in the history of the tournament. I think any place will be incredible both for us and for the world of tennis. It would be like a kind of last dance.Novak Djokovic via MARCA
It is quite evident given the history of the French Open, that any tennis player would not be willing to face Nadal on the clay considering the amount of titles he has won there. However, Djokovic referred it to as the ‘last dance’ and that he would be looking up to that match. At last, the Serbian concluded by saying that he was unsure if they would ever meet again but he is desperate to play his longtime rival one last time.
