This year, Djokovic was on a mission for redemption in this Grand Slam. His rival, Rafael Nadal, had clinched the title last year, with Djokovic now drawing equal to the number of Grand Slam titles as Nadal.
Djokovic defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas to clinch this impressive victory in Melbourne. The scorecard for Djokovic read 6-3, 7-6 (4), and 7-6 (5). Djokovic has once again emerged at the top of the GOAT debate for tennis, making him the second oldest player to have such an achievement.
