By April, the Spanish star would have spent 420 weeks as No.1. Carlos Alcaraz has 640 points to claim if he wins the Miami Open and 400 points to defend for Jannik Sinner. While the Serbian leads with a 920 points gap. If Carlos Alcaraz wins Miami Open he will sit at No. 2 with 9,445 points while Djokovic will remain at No. 1 with 9,725 points.

However, the chase for the No. 1 spot will become really fun when the European clay swing kicks off in April. With Monte Carlo Masters to open the stage, Alcaraz may topple Djokovic but he will have to win his next two tournaments and hope the 36-year-old never reaches a semifinal.
