Novak Djokovic is one of the greatest tennis players in the world and is an intrinsic part of The Big Three. Often dubbed the Serbian legend, Novak Djokovic is all set for the ATP Finals 2022 with an aim of equalling Roger Feder’s record for the most number of titles won at the year-end championship against the top 8 players as per the ATP rankings.

Despite facing two semifinal defeats in the last two years, the tennis sensation says he is feeling all fresh and ready to give the 2022 season a perfect ending. As per the Serbian player himself, he doesn’t feel as young and energetic as other Nitto 2022 ATP Finals opponents, but he is motivated to give his best on the court. For those unitiated, Novak Djokovics is currently the second-oldest player of the eight prominent players competing in the year-end tournament, after 36 year old Spanish top seed Rafael Nadal.

The Serbian had a tough year. However, he wants to end the season well. In an interview before starting his campaign at the ATP Finals 2022 in Turin, the 21-time Grand Slam champion weighed his chances in the season-ending competition.

Counting on his experience to win the prestigious title, he noted, “I’ve had experience in this tournament, in this format, many times and hopefully that can serve me in a good way,”

He will be starting his ATP Finals campaign on November 14 against Stefanos Tsitsipas.

I played him in the past two tournaments I played, in the final in Astana and the semi-finals in Paris. Both matches were quite close, particularly the one in Paris. I know that I am expecting a tough match without a doubt,” The Serb was very candid about his encounter.

The ATP Finals tournament will be played between 13th November to 20th November this year.
