Novak Djokovic kicked off his Paris Masters 2023 campaign with a sensational win over Tomas Martin Etcheverry in the round of 32. The Serb defeated the Argentinian 6-3, 6-2 in straight sets and seemed to have faced no difficulty at all. However, despite his win, some fans are disappointed with the outfit that the 24-time Grand Slam winner was wearing in the match.

Lacoste, Novak Djokovic’s long-time official kit sponsor, makes a different outfit for the Serb in all the tournaments and this time they went with a duotone outfit of red and light purple for the 2023 Paris Masters. The fans seem to be divided in opinion about this outfit. While some fans love it, others have termed it straight atrocious, and there is no in-between.

Some fans loved it while others totally hated it. In fact, many fans went to the point of calling it the worst Novak Djokovic outfit ever. Here are some of the reactions:

However, some fans have also said that they are confused by all the hate about the new outfit, as it looks good on Novak Djokovic and that one can never go wrong with purple.

Novak Djokovic failed to defend his Paris Masters title in 2022 as he lost to Holger Rune in the final. The year before that, he won the tournament by beating the then-defending champion, Daniil Medvedev. The Serb will thus look to win the title back this year in 2023 and his route is way easier now that the second seed Carlos Alcaraz got knocked out of the tournament in the first round.
