According to reports, Moderna has hired a former FBI agent to gather information about the high-risk celebrities. Some big names pop up who fall under this category, such as the tennis veteran Novak Djokovic, tech tycoon Elon Musk, and the famous actor Russell Brand. All these famous personalities have been critical of using the coronavirus vaccine.

Moderna is a giant in the world of pharmacy and was one of the first to market the mRNA vaccines against COVID-19. These vaccines have been distributed and used by people all over the world during the pandemic. However, there were a few who were against the use of vaccines.

Thus, to keep track of these anti-vaccine statements, the company is reported to have hired a team. The team consists of former law enforcement officers.

The existence of the department was revealed by independent journalists Lee Fang and Jack Poulson. According to them the department also commissioned one of the reports regarding Djokovic.

Nole had to face several prosecutions for not taking up the vaccine. The Serbian legend, who holds the record for most Singles men’s Grand Slam title victories, was not allowed to participate in the 2021 and 2022 seasons of the US Open. However, the Serb rose strongly in the 2023 season and won the US Open at Flushing Meadows.

Is the Novak Djokovic vs. Moderna battle still on?

Things became a bit heated with the netizens as various controversial posts surfaced on the internet after the 2023 US Open victory of Djokovic. This was because of the very reason that Moderna was one of the official sponsors of the 2023 US Open.

Djokovic missed the last two US Open and various other North American tournaments because of the ban. However, he got the green light from the association to participate in this season’s two hardcourt Majors and went on to win both of them.

After his return to the USA for the first time in two years, the Serb received a warm welcome. Nole also received backing for his anti-vaccination stance from some of the athletes across the USA. The most prominent one is the NFL star Aaron Rodgers who has hailed Nole for his fitness. Moreover, the NFL star supported Nole’s anti-vaccination stance and criticized the US government.

Moderna is actually concerned with this anti-vaccination stance of Nole and some of the other famous personalities. They feel that this might influence a lot of others to take up this stance making a loss for them. The pharmacy company is also reported by Fang and Poulson to hire Talkwalker, a tech firm to monitor vaccine-related content across 150 million websites.
