Serbian tennis ace Novak Djokovic extended his heartfelt greetings to his Chinese fans as they welcomed the new year on Saturday. Djokovic, who has a big fanbase in the Asian country, shared the wishes in both Chinese and English. The 36-year-old wished a new year filled with prosperity for his fans in China and Chinese people living across the globe.
Notably, Novak Djokovic has built a strong fanbase in the country as he goes there to play in the Shanghai Masters and the Beijing Open. Djokovic has talked about his love for China on multiple occasions. The Serbian also recently stunned everyone with his fluency in Mandarin as he spoke to journalists at the United Cup.

Even in the video released by Nole, he starts in Mandarin and then switches to English. Djokovic wished his fans a prosperous new year and thanked them for supporting him.

Novak Djokovic is currently enjoying a break after a disappointment at the 2024 Australian Open. As Djokovic failed to defend his title at the year’s first Grand Slam tournament, he has taken a break and might return to action not before the Indian Wells.

Till then, the 36-year-old is making the most of his time in Italy. Djokovic has gone on a vacation with his family to the mountains of Italy and he recently tried skiing.
The Serbian shared a couple of pictures on his Instagram story where he posed in skiing gear at Val Gardena Ski Resort in Italy. He also claimed to have clocked a new Super G record on the World Cup ski slope.

The Serbian ace has played two tournaments in the 2024 season so far. Djokovic represented his country at the United Cup but could not help them to ultimate glory.
At the Australian Open, he reached the semifinals but lost to eventual champion Jannik Sinner. Now, Djokovic will be determined to make a roaring comeback when he plays the next tournament.
