Novak Djokovic is having an incredible run this year, as he’s won two of the four Slams and is all set to bag his third. The Serbian has been undefeated since 2017 here on grass, and he is on a winning streak of 33 Wimbledon matches. He is aiming to win his 24th slam after winning his 23rd one at the French Open.

After his quarterfinal match against Andrey Rublev, Novak shared a wholesome moment with young fans sitting in the stands cheering for him and waiting for their idol to give them autographs. There was a young boy who even shouted for Novak if he could give his racquet to him, but they were in for a surprise when Novak went back to his bag and picked up new sweatbands, a cap, and a towel to hand them to his young fans, who were gleaming with joy after receiving gifts from him.

Novak has dropped only two sets this year on grass. He defeated Pedro Cachin in the first round before moving on to Jordan Thompson in the second round of the tournament. He then went on to knock out the Swiss Stan Wawrinka. In the pre-quarters, where he dropped his first set against Hubert Hurkacz, he dropped the opening set in the quarter-finals against Andrey Rublev.

He is up against the young Jannik Sinner next in the semi-finals. Sinner has only won one title this year, at Open 13 in Montpellier. Sinner, like Novak, has also dropped only two sets in the tournament. One against Quentin Halys in the third round, and one against Roman Safiullin. The young 21-year-old is going to be battling against the Serb, who has a winning streak of 33 matches at Wimbledon and is unbeaten on Centre Court. With that being said, there is no denying that it is going to be tough for Sinner to defeat Novak and make it to the finals.

This is going to be their third meeting, and Novak leads 2-0 in their head-to-head. Their last meeting was at last year’s Wimbledon quarterfinals, where Novak won 5-7, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-2. Looking at Janniki’s performance so far, it isn’t going to be an easy match or win for the Serbian. The prediction is that Novak will win in four sets.
