Novak Djokovic is one of the most loved players around the world. His fans have always been there to support him during his matches. The Serbian too behaves warmly with his fans. One of the recent videos of Nole has surfaced on Twitter in which he is training with a 13-year-old kid in the Rackets Academy in Dubai. The fans have been overwhelmed by this beautiful gesture of Nole.
The 13-year-old kid’s name is Timur Gordeev. He is a student at the Rackets Academy in Dubai. He is a beginner in the junior circuit of tennis and has three wins in his four matches. The training session with the veteran must have taught so much to this young player. Fans consider him one of the luckiest individuals as he is getting to train with one of the absolute veterans of the game.
Nole was present in Dubai to prepare for the 2024 season. Moreover, he also has an exhibition match with Carlos Alcaraz in Dubai. Fans have lauded the Serb for managing time to play with the kid even when the season is just ten days away. The former also gifted a hat to the kid.
Big Season coming ahead for Novak Djokovic
Nole had one of the best seasons of his career in 2023. Even in the twilight of his career, the Serb went on to win three major Grand Slam titles besides reaching the finals of the Wimbledon and reaching the ATP Finals. With only a few days left before the 2024 session begins, Nole is looking forward to one of the most defining seasons of his career.
It will be interesting to see how Nole turns up for the next season. With his old foe and career-long rival Rafael Nadal returning from injury in the Australian Open, the defending champion of the event will have a task on his hands to win the title.
Moreover, the season is far more important for the Serbian because of the Paris Olympics around the corner. The Serb has never won an Olympic gold medal in his career. That’s the only thing missing from his illustrious trophy cabinet. He will be looking to win the gold in the Olympic games for his nation and the next season will probably be his last chance.
