World No. 2 Novak Djokovic is known for his intense aggression and determination on the court but is also quite famous for his off-court nature. He is originally a very fun-loving character who loves having a go at his hobbies when he is not playing tennis. It is no secret that Novak is in love with horseback riding and skiing, and he also possesses a very healthy diet, not consuming animal foods due to his allergic nature.

He is known to many for having a great taste in foods and restaurants, and his long-time friend, Cosmin Georgescu, who is now a coach at the Nikola Pilic Academy, has now confirmed it as well.

The Romanian talked about his meeting with Novak in an interview with media outlet Pro Sport and how Novak greeted him when they met. He also talked about having the first drink of his life with the 23-time Grand Slam winner. Cosmic said, “I had just finished a training session. I came home, and my father said to me, in a week, you will go to Germany to a tennis academy.”

He added, “Nole was my first roommate at legendary Croatian tennis player Nikki Pilic’s tennis academy. Pilic put me in a room with Djokovic! I was with Djokovic for the first time in my life in a bar in Munich! I had my first drink of alcohol with Nole. He was older, already more mature. He took me to this bar and offered me a cocktail saying: ‘To my good Romanian friend’. It was my first experience as I tried to get used to life in Germany. And immediately with Djokovic!”
