American actress and tennis legend Andre Agassi‘s ex-wife Brooke Shields recently featured in a SKIMS ad campaign where renowned celebrities freely talked about their breasts. To everyone’s surprise, she commented on his ex-husband Agassi’s wife, Steffi Graf. Apart from Shields, the ad starred Becky G, Chelsea Handler, Cassie, Indya Moore, and Juliette Lewis.
Dressed in a brown bra, underwear, and matching tights, Shields said that her ex-husband’s wife, Steffi Graf has one of the most perfect bodies out there. Along with the shooting crew, Shields laughed after the statement. “One of the most perfect bodies is… my ex-husband’s wife,” Shields said with a smirk on her face.
Why did Andre Agassi split with Brooke Shields and marry Steffi Graf?
After a few years of dating, Shields married Agassi in 1997 but the couple wasn’t happy after the marriage. The 8-time major champion himself admitted that he went into a very dark space personally which even affected his tennis career. He dropped out of the Top 100 and wasn’t even able to reach a grand slam quarterfinal in 1997 and 1998.
Over the years, Shields has accused Agassi of bringing his anger and dissatisfaction back home which affected their marriage. While the truth may not be known to everyone, Shields still believes that Agassi’s behavior over the two years of their relationship is the main reason for their split.
They eventually divorced in 1999 and in that year, Agassi won two major titles and also reached the Wimbledon final. After a few months, he started dating fellow tennis star and 22-time major champion Steffi Graf. Agassi and Graf eventually got married in 2002 and to date, are happily married. They are also parents to two beautiful children.
