Iga Swiatek defeated Ekaterina Alexandrova in the semifinals to book her place in another final of the WTA events of the year. She has already appeared in seven finals in different WTA tournaments, especially including her two final appearances in the Grand Slam tournaments at the French Open and at the US Open where she claimed both the singles title. She has been fantastic with her performances in the clay court season as she was on a 37-match winning streak and successfully defended her title at the French Open.
Swiatek, the three-time Grand Slam champion defeated Caty McNally and Ajla Tomljanovic in the earlier stages of the competition. This will be her first tournament after her triumph at the US Open where she defeated Ons Jabeur in straight sets. The Polish player has dropped only one set on her way to the finals.
Barbora Krejikova defeated the 2022 Wimbledon Champion Elena Rybalina in the semi-finals despite losing the first set. She defeated Alycia Parks, Belinda Bencic, and Shelby Rogers in the earlier stages of the competition and dropped only one set on her way to the finals which came in the semi-finals.
She has been riding on a high since she also won the Tallinn Open defeating Anett Kontaveit since her shocking second-round exit in her singles match at the US Open. But she along with her compatriot Katerina Siniakova had won the US Open doubles title.
This will be the third time that both the players will be playing against each other and their head-to-head stands at 2-0 with Swiatek having the upper hand over the local player where the Polish player had defeated Krejcikova in the three sets in the third round clash.

Krejcikova has had a fair amount of success this year, especially with her winning the doubles match at the three Grand Slam events of the year- the Australian Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open. She is just one win away from her second consecutive title and has a string forehand and backhand serve which forbids her opponent to break her game.
On the other hand, Swiatek has been a fierce opponent this year as she has already played at seven finals of the year and remains undefeated at the finals. She is also on a 10-match winning streak and has recently won a Grand Slam title which would have boosted her confidence. But with the form she is in, Swiatek will come out as the winner despite having crowd support
