American tennis professional, Sebastian Korda will begin his campaign in Paris following his first-round exit from the Swiss Indoors championship in Basel. The 23-year-old incurred a first-round loss to Argentine tennis player, Tomas Martin Etcheverry. He lost scoring 3-6, 6-1,3-6 over three sets. Korda however, made it to the Top 4 at the Shanghai Masters tournament earlier this month. He lost the match to none other than Hubert Hurkacz himself.

Hubert Hurkacz, at the same time, made the finals at the Swiss Indoors event in Basel. He will be taking on defending champion Felix Auger-Aliassime in his upcoming match shortly. The Polish sensation claimed the Masters title in Shanghai, beating fifth seed Andrey Rublev. The 26-year-old will be looking forward to repeating the feat in Paris as well.
