“I think she (Coco Gauff) is a star. To fully be a star, she needed to be a Grand Slam champion, and now she is. I think she can win many more. And she is definitely so exciting to watch. She has so much charisma, energy, and positivity. I think she has everything to become a big star and bring people to come and watch WTA. I’m very happy that Naomi Osaka is coming back next year. I think she’s also great for tennis, and the rivalry between the two can be exciting,” Patrick Mouratoglou said. (H/T: Tennis Infinity)

Coco Gauff did the unthinkable by defeating Aryna Sabalenka in the final of the 2023 US Open. She emerged victorious in the match despite being set down against the current World No. 1. What she did in the next two rounds will be remembered for ages, as it was sheer domination by the nineteen-year-old, and that too against a player of that caliber.

The youngster finally won her first Grand Slam at the age of nineteen, and with that, she has climbed up to the WTA rank of World No. 3. With the form she is currently in, Coco can easily be said to be one of the best women’s players in the world right now, and she surely has a great future ahead.
