Paula Badosa recently turned 26 and celebrated this auspicious day with her boyfriend Stefanos Tsitsipas. The two have been together since the start of 2023 and have always been there for each other during the matches and even after. There was a time when both the players deleted pictures of each other on their Instagram handles but fortunately, they are still together and the fans continue to cheer on the couple. 

Badosa recently posted a birthday story where she was seen kissing her boyfriend in front of a decadent cake. The cake was three-tiered with miniature figurines of the couple in which Badosa was seen posing holding a racket and her boyfriend Stefanos clicking her picture on what seemed like a visual representation of a clay court. “Celebrating with the best,” posted the Spaniard on her Instagram tagging her boyfriend Tsitsipas.

Stefanos Tsitsipas has recently withdrawn from the ongoing Nitto ATP Finals due to back issues and has been replaced by Hubert Hurkacz. The Greek started his finals run with a loss to Jannik Sinner but had to give a walkthrough during the first 15 minutes of his second game. He now nurses those injuries to be all fit for the upcoming season.

In the world of tennis, it is very common for rivals to be best of friends off the court, this is the same in the case of Spaniard Paula Badosa and the world number 2 Aryna Sabalenka. Both these women have spoken about the depth of their friendship and recently, Sabalenka had wished her best friend in her hilarious way. She posted on her Instagram:

The Belarusian also shared a couple more stories featuring the friendship between Badosa and her. The photos represent how their friendship started and how it is going for the two women. “She’s the best,” replied Badosa to the messages from her best friend.

The Spaniard is currently celebrating her birthday with her boyfriend Stefanos Tsitsipas and the fans will be waiting to see when the Spaniard is fully fit to return to playing tennis. Badosa reached a career-high of world number 2 before slumping down due to injury issues. She hopes to return to her winning ways and try to get back her lost rank.
