Martina Navratilova is one of the greatest women’s tennis players of all time. She holds the record of winning the most singles titles in the open era. She has won 167 titles in her career, and 18 of those are Grand Slams. Navratilova has the record for the highest career singles match wins, a total of 1,442. She is an iconic figure in the tennis world and a Czechoslovakian legend.
Petra Kvitova eyes a comeback in the French Open
Petra Kvitova is having a forgettable season. She has lost most of her opening rounds with the exception of reaching the quarterfinal in the Miami Open 2021, where she lost to the eventual winner Iga Swiatek. Kvitova didn’t perform well on the clay season, but she would like to redeem herself in the French Open.
However, her best performance came on the grass, which she will be looking forward to again to gain some momentum. Kvitova will make a bid for more titles as she has even dropped out of the top 30 and would like to get back in the WTA top 10.
