Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz to battle in Las Vegas with the match named ‘Netflix Slam’
Netflix will showcase a live telecast of an exhibition match between Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz in March next year.

Netflix, one of the leading streaming platforms in the world, recently announced that it would showcase a live exhibition match between the 22-time Grand Slam title champion, Rafael Nadal, and the reigning Wimbledon Champion, Carlos Alcaraz.
The match is scheduled to take place on March 3rd at the Michelob Ultra Arena at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. The match is being named ‘Netflix Slam,’ and the streaming platform will be telecasting it live.
This is the second time that Netflix will telecast a live sporting event on its platform. They also showed ‘The Netflix Cup’, which was a live golf exhibition match that included the top stars from the PGA Tour, as they featured in a documentary called ‘Full Swing’.
Netflix is well known for creating sports docuseries and has made some popular shows like ‘Drive to Survive’, which includes top Formula One star. They also made a documentary on tennis, named ‘Breaking Point‘; however, neither Rafael Nadal nor Carlos Alcaraz was featured in it.
However, this time, with the live telecast of their exhibition match, the two Spaniards will get a chance to make their debut on Netflix.
Rafael Nadal aims to come back to the sport in 2024 for one last time
The 14-time French Open champion has time and again announced his confirmation regarding his participation in the 2024 season as he looks to kick off his campaign starting with the Brisbane Open next year. The 22-time Grand Slam title winner has expressed his desire to make one final comeback to the sport after missing the entire 2023 season.
While preparing for a comeback, the former World No. 1 has also expressed his desire to play in the Olympics next year in Paris in the hope of sharing the court with fellow tennis player and teammate Carlos Alcaraz, as the two will represent Spain.
He has also talked about his comeback, claiming that he looks forward to competing at the highest level and does not aim to win any Slams given the difficult position he is in in his career.
