Spanish Maestro Rafael Nadal has made multiple headlines ever since he announced his comeback to tennis after a horrific injury last year. However, the Spaniard did not provide a timeline for his return, so with every announcement, there is a huge roar of support from the fans online.

The 22-time Grand Slam champion returned to tennis at the Brisbane International where he suffered an injury in an exhausting third-round match against Jordan Thompson. Returning in his second attempt at a comeback, the Spaniard has announced his return at the prestigious BNP Paribas Open (commonly known as Indian Wells). Despite the many injury concerns and his form, Nadal confirmed his presence in the USA.

This is where Nadal will be featured next and mark his start of the second comeback of the year. After this, he will feature in an exhibition match at the Netflix Slam against Carlos Alcaraz before entering the Indian Wells for the 16th time. With one of the biggest stadiums in tennis, Indian Wells attracts a lot of crowds, making it as important as a Grand Slam tournament. This time, the crowd is expected to come in large numbers, with the top players competing. Other than Rafael Nadal, his compatriot Carlos Alcaraz will be there to defend his title.

Also featured in the list is the returning Novak Djokovic. With five Indian Wells titles to his name, the Serbian is in search of another one. Having not played for about five years, the World No.1 is all set to break more records at this event. He already has 5 titles to his name and one of the best winning streaks at this tournament.

Other than them, Indian Wells will also welcome the presence of former champions like Taylor Fritz and Cameron Norrie, who are also some of the favorites for the tournament. With the presence of top players, the tournament might be another huge hit for the tennis world.
