Former World No.1 Rafael Nadal has shared a post on Instagram, which shows him enjoying his down-time at the Real Golf de Pedrena. This Golf course is where former World No.1 Golfer Severiano Ballesteros began playing golf. Ballesteros used this course to practice throughout his career.
Pedrena is the hometown of golfer Severiano Ballesteros. The golf course there saw the rise of one of the greatest golfers of all time. Ballesteros has the most European tour wins with 50 wins. He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1999. Professional tennis player Rafael Nadal posted a picture of himself enjoying his time off at this same golf course.
Nadal is currently on a hiatus from professional tennis as he recovers from an injury. While the rest of the 2023 season seems to be out of reach for the Spanish ace, he hopes to return to the 2024 season for a swan song. The Spaniard had admitted that it was his goal to take part in the 2024 Australian Open and try to give the best result possible.
Rafael Nadal suffered an injury in the psoas muscle following his third-round defeat at the Australian Open. This was a huge blow to the Spaniard since he was the defending champion there. While the initial prediction was that he needed to lay low for a few weeks, his injury proved harder and harder to manage. However, this is not the first injury the Spaniard has seen. He has always been suffering from the effects of his foot injury and the Australian Open seemed to be a final draw for the Spaniard. He had withdrawn from the Roland Garros and has not been seen on the court since.

Rafa Nadal will come back on tour only if he sees a chance to win titles says Boris Becker
German tennis legend Boris Becker has predicted that the Spaniard will return to professional tennis only if he sees a chance of winning titles. With a heartbreaking 2023 season, the Spaniard hopes to come back for a swan song in the 2024 season.
The 22-time Grand Slam seemed to have a baffling 2022 season with titles at the Australian Open and Roland Garros. However, these hopes were destroyed as he suffered an injury at the Australian Open 2023, an injury he still cannot seem to recover from.
However, according to Borris Becker, Nadal will return to tour only if he can win. He currently has 22 Grand Slams, two behind the all-time men’s leader Novak Djokovic, who seems to be on a winning spree. Nadal should hope to catch up to the Serb following his return.
