Spanish legend Conchita Martinez has won many trophies for Spain and has also been a wonderful captain for the men’s Davis Cup. In the interview with Claytenis, the Spaniard revealed her thoughts on Saudi being rejected to hold the WTA Finals.

“I was very happy that the Finals were going anywhere other than Saudi Arabia. There are many values, and the truth is that I do not see it as very positive that the WTA went there considering the way they treat women in that country. Look what women are to them. So why are we going there? Why are we going to go to Saudi Arabia with how women are seen there?,” asked Martinez.

Spain has already taken a step back as Carlos Alcaraz won’t be participating in the Davis Cup. They face Novak Djokovic and the Serbian team in the first round of the tournament. As of Nadal’s return, it will be a speculation to watch the return of the Spaniard in 2024 and fans are expecting the former champion to return better than ever and get back what he deserves.
