Rafael Nadal’s Australian Open 2023 outfit revealed, fans will have to wait further for his ‘sleeveless career slam’

The most successful male tennis player in Grand Slams- World No.2 Rafael Nadal will be in action to retain his Australian Open title by wearing some bright colors as Rafael Nadal’s outfit for the tournament is revealed now. The Nike shirt has a light orange color and the trouser is white. The jacket and shoe have light blue colors.
The fans consider the 2022 Australian Open dark pink outfit of Rafael Nadal “Goated” because that wear got him over the curse of the tournament after 13 years. He went on to win in Acapulco also wearing the same. The Spanish legend did not lose a single match wearing it. The fans are looking forward to seeing how this orange outfit works.
Nadal is always known to love bright colors. He himself has admitted the same before. He had worn orange with dark blue in the hard court season after Acapulco until the clay season last year. Many fans were expecting Nadal to go back to sleeveless. The Australian Open is the only Grand Slam that Nadal has not won wearing sleeveless.
He had won a number of French Opens wearing sleeveless, Wimbledon in 2008 and US open in 2019. Both in 2009 and 2022 when the Spaniard won the Australian Open, he was not wearing sleeveless. Rafael Nadal’s outfit for this year’s will see him wait for a ‘sleeveless career slam‘ as per the words of some Rafa fans.

Rafael Nadal will be looking to repeat the first half of 2022 in the next year
Rafael Nadal started his 2022 in the best possible way after bagging the Summer Set 1 ATP-250 title in Melbourne. Then in the Australian Open final, at almost 36 years of age, after going down 2 sets and 2-3(0-40) against the best hard court player on the tour & the most recent slam winner (Daniil Medvedev), he went on to win it in 5 sets.
The Spaniard was on crutches 6 months back due to a foot injury and tested covid positive a month back prior to the tournament. Even under these circumstances, he has turned it around in the same tournament where he lost 4 finals previously.
The Australian Open 2022 could be arguably the best slam ever won by the Spaniard. All the odds were against him. Including the triumph in Australia, he went on to win 20 consecutive matches on the tour winning Acapulco ATP-500 as well. The streak ended in the finals of ATP-1000 Indian Wells final against Taylor Fritz when Nadal had to play with a rib injury.
Following a month of absence and then a foot injury, he won the 14th French Open title. This was after beating 4 top-10 players including his greatest rival Novak Djokovic in the quarter-finals in 4 sets. The 22nd Grand Slam took the Spaniard to bigger heights in his illustrious career. It was later revealed that Nadal played in the French Open by making his left foot numb to overcome the pain.
Though the abdomen injury had taken a toll on his body and performance in the second half of the season, Nadal will still be happy for a great first half. fans are expecting a fresh and healthy Nadal on the court in 2023.
