The duo invested $235 million, led by Tiger Global. Both Lewis and Roger are not only legends in their respective sports but also smart businessmen.

They have many other investments and make deals very smartly. For a long time, both of them have been on Forbes’ list of the highest-paid athletes. And this is the main reason they identify those businesses that have the potential to grow big. Roger is the seventh-highest-earning athlete in the year 2022, while Lewis is the highest-earning motorsports athlete ever.

Millionaires who are attracted to invest in startups look for risk capital because of the novelty of their business models and rapid growth that gives large profits. However, some millionaires were not interested to invest their capital into a business but have formed their venture capital firm. For example, Kobe Bryant launched the Bryant Stibel venture capital fund in 2013 which invests in startups related to technology and sports.
