Roger Federer and Wilson tennis rackets are almost synonymous with each other. With Wilson rackets in his hand, the Swiss Legend was able to carve out magic on the courts for multiple years and seasons. His domination extended from all Grand Slam tournaments to ATP tournaments.
It is unfortunate that tennis fans will not be able to watch him play on the courts professionally as he decided to retire in 2022. He played his last match with old rival Rafael Nadal as a doubles pair against the Team World’s Jack Sock and Frances Tiafoe at the Laver Cup 2022 in London. He acknowledged in the new Wilson advertisement launching the new racket, that he is disappointed for would not be able to play with it on the Tour.
“Wilson has a new ProStaff coming out the V14 and for the first time in quite some time now I won’t be the one playing or debuting it on the tour which is obviously unfortunate,” he is telling his fans in the new advertisement.
However, he is also optimistic that those who will take this racket in their hands will be successful. Both the male and female tennis players will be playing with the Wilson’s new racket this season.
“But you’ll see it in the hands of really some great other players from both the ATP and WTA tour in 2023 and beyond. The precision is still at the absolute top of the game and I know you’ll get as much joy out of the new version as with all the ProStaffs I played to date really,” he continued.
Wilson tennis rackets are trusted by many tennis players

The American sports good manufacturer, Wilson is one of the most popular choices for tennis rackets amongst tennis players. Roger Federer played with their range of tennis rackets and won 20 Grand Slam tournaments and numerous other ATP tournaments in his fabled career. However, beside him, there are many tennis players both on the WTA and ATP Tours to use Wilson’s rackets.
Serena Williams is another legend which comes to mind. She also won numerous tennis tournaments with a Wilson racket in her hand. Even in her last game against Ajla Tomljanovic in the US Open 2022, she played with a Wilson racket.
Wilson rackets have also been a companion of seven-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams and Juan Martin del Potro for a major length of their career. Active players such as Andrey Rublev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Victoria Azarenka, Grigor Dmitrov amongst others also trust Wilson rackets.
